Hi i am Lakesha Brooks a single mother of two boys. I would like to apply for a grant for housing. the inprovements that i need is roofing it is leeking and windows and rugs in two rooms and i need new flooring put in. Which cost a large sum that i dont have with a huge mortgage and other bills.
i and my two children are homeless since august 11 2009 i have gone several times to the housing athority only to be told that there is no emergency help for homeless. i am a working mom and work the graveyard shift at my job there is no way that i would take my family to pads and the other shelters are full or for battered families i am bouncing from one relitives home to a friends home and driving the children to school daily .i have contacted several agencies to no avail what can i do?

I need help paying my rent and bills
I live in an old house built in 1901. The pilings and central beam which support the house had deteriorated. The house is in danger of collaping. I need help in stablizing it. I am nearing 70 years of age,live on a small social security income and have no means to repair my home nor repay a loan. I need a grant and/or an opportunity to (barter)work off the cost of repair. Can anyone share usuable information with me?

i,m a mother of eight two of which are grown and have kids of there own which all live with me the oldests is out on maternity leave and there,s only one income to support everyone i need help to pay my rent for february and my light bill is 539.00 and is due by february25 or they will be shut off and then i have to pay a whole lot more and my rent is 750.00 plus 250.00 to keep from going all the waywith eviction i need this grant to pay up my monthy debt and to put tile or some kind or flooring and fix my bathroom tub where the faucet leaks all my hot water thats why my light billl is so high i need this grant please help me with this grant i,m ruing out of time please respond thank you
