The Women’s Venture Fund is a non-profit organization empowering women in urban communities in New York and New Jersey to build successful businesses. WVF provides small business loans, training, and mentoring in order to give women the tools they need to thrive. Since it’s beginning in 1997, WVF has provided technical training to over 10, 000 women and 1.5 million dollars in funding to women entrepreneurs.
