Scholarships for women provide the funds and support for women to succeed in education. Scholarships help bridge the gender gap in education and empowers women to achieve their educational dreams and goals. Women are eligible to apply for all scholarships but there are specific scholarships to meet the needs of women. There are scholarships for women in every field of study and for all levels of education.

There are many education grant and scholarship programs available specifically for African Americans. African Americans can apply for all scholarship and grant programs but there are additional programs available to help African Americans succeed in education. These grants and scholarships are available through a number of sources such as black colleges and universities, organizations, foundations, corporations and private donors.
