Non-Traditional scholarships for women are offered to women who have not followed a traditional path of education. These may be women who have had to overcome tremendous obstacles such as poverty, childcare, family obligations or abusive homes. Women who have had to quit college or delay their college education for any reason would fit into this category. There are many different types of non-traditional scholarships with individual requirement but they are mostly aimed at encouraging women to start or complete their college education. The following are some of the non-traditional scholarships available for women.
