The FSEOG is intended for undergraduate students with extra financial needs.

Students receiving Pell Grants who have the highest need (based on the calculation for their EFC- Eligible Family Contribution) will be the first to receive the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants.

Eligible students can receive an additional $100 to $4,000 per year. The amount you receive will be based on when you apply (the earlier the better), your financial needs, your school’s financial aid office policy and your school’s available funding. Your school will distribute the grant funds to you directly each term.

You should apply at your school’s financial aid office or online at the FAFSA web site.
