Once our Veterans return home, they are met with overwhelming challenges at home and in society at large. Veterans face a lack of affordable housing, homelessness, declining job opportunities, stagnating wages and an increased risk for drug and alcohol dependency. Although there needs to be much progress made in the services and programs available to veterans, there are programs and services that can help.

I’ve done over 20 years Army service and my husband just got transfered from Italy to Fort Bragg and is deployed again. We’re are often separated and I find myself holding down the homefront. This move cost me my job, our house, and my car was totaled. I need serious financial help to get back on my feet. A grant would erase much of my stress.
