There are many education grant and scholarship programs available specifically for African Americans. African Americans can apply for all scholarship and grant programs but there are additional programs available to help African Americans succeed in education. These grants and scholarships are available through a number of sources such as black colleges and universities, organizations, foundations, corporations and private donors. The following are excellent resources if you are looking for college funding. They offer a variety of scholarships, grants and support services for African American students and potential students. Thurgood Marshall College Fund
The Thurgood Marshall College Fund provides a wide variety of scholarships, internships, resources and support services for African Americans.
The United Negro College Fund helps African Americans attend college and succeed in higher education by providing scholarships, internships, fellowships, networking opportunities and support services.
Jack and Jill of America Foundation
The Jack and Jill of America Foundation offers many grants, awards and scholarship programs for African Americans.
National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP)
The NAACP is a national leader in providing higher education opportunities to African Americans. The following are just some of the scholarships available through the NAACP Scholarship Program.
