I worked very hard for years .I raised four children with very little help from anywhere. I tried many times to get at least a little help but was told ” We may as well end this meeting now, You are a divorce’ and we just don’t do this. He got fired but STILL no one wanted to help . I did make it on my own and now I would like a little help gettong settled for the few years I have left . I would like to be just a little honery at the point and just say please don’t tell me ” well, you don’t have that long to live anyway”.

I am 34 years old and have three girls and expecting my forth child. I have never owned a home and would love the opportunity to be a homeowner one day for my kids sake. I work hard everyday, to suppoert my family but more then anything would love to pay on mortgage where I can see where my money is going to in the future. thank you

I HAVE DONE MY BEST TO RAISE 2 SONS ALONE AFTER THEIR DIED AT AGE 26. i AM NOW A 58 YR OLD MOTHER WITH 1 DISABLED SON THAT IS TRYIN TO GET HIS DISABILITY. I AM TOTALLY BEDRIDDEN. INEED A HANDICAP VAN TO GET TO THE DOCTOR & HOSPITAL. WE ALSO NEED A HUD HOUSE SO WE CAN MAYBE AFFORD LAUNDRY DETERGENT, DISH DETERGENT, AND THINGS FOOD STAMPS DON’T BUY. WHAT KIND OF EX AMPLE CAM I BE WHEN I CANNOT EVEN KEEP THE UTILITIES PAID WHILE PAING RENT ON A TIN SHOE BOX TO LIVE IN. WHERE IS THE FREEDOM THE USA SUPPOSE TO STAND FOR!!!!!

I sm s single mother who would really like some financial help with buying a home for my kids and get them out of these apts we have been living in for five yrs.and it is starting to get bad.For what I have pd. here I could have been paying on something that could have way be ours. I cant afford to put away money,my credit is bad even though I pay my rent and so on on time its never enough.Gov. is suppose to have Billions to help single mothers. Why do they make it so hard!We just want to give our kids a nice home for there well being….

Down payment assistance programs are tricky, at least that’s our experience. Some were really sketchy but some others were very helpful. Just be aware and don’t be afraid to ask lots of questions. Really worth it in general.
