Several programs exist to help you save on your energy bills.

The two main resources are the Weatherization Grant and the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program  (LIHEAP).

There is another program that  helps homeowners by adding the cost of energy improvement costs to your mortgage.  It is called the Energy Efficient Mortgage.

The Energy Star Program is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy. This program offers many rebates and tax credits for using or purchasing energy efficient and environmentally friendly products and services.

My daughter and I live in a moble home trailor proably about a 94-95 that despartly needs underpinning work done to it. I live on a fixed income and it seems like the electric bills keep going up and with no money to fix it.

I am a 65 year old man. My wife and I live in an old two story house, build in 1903. Sits on concrete and wood piers. Needs floor, ceiling and wall insulation. Need to replace the old windows and and some of the wood siding needs replacing.
