This education grant is available for undergraduate students in their first two years of a two or four year program. The grant can be worth up to $750 in the first year and up to $1,300 in the second year. Additional requirements are below:
- Receiving a Pell Grant.
- US citizen.
- Enrolled full time
- Have completed a rigorous high school program.
Here you can find a list of considered high school programs in your state. In general, if your program falls in one of these three categories your high school program should be eligible:
- State Scholars Initiative requirements (already offered in 14 States).
- A set of courses similar to the State Scholars Initiative requirements.
- Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate courses and test scores.
